Dr Ahmed Kazmi brings new meaning to the term slashie. He's a Dermatologist, GP, comedian and cabaret artist who's based in Melbourne. His recent stand up shows include 'Dr Ahmed Gets Hitched: My Big Fat Gay Greek Pakistani Wedding' and 'Taste of Your Own Medicine: The Doctor’s Turn Being the Patient'. Many patients had said to me, 'You're the funniest doctor I've ever met. You should be a comedian'. And then so one day I thought, okay, let me try it. The bit that I think did surprise people was trying to balance medical work and comedic work, and also trying to negotiate it in a way that wasn't actually causing any medical legal problems.
