From foraging for turmeric at Tambourine Mountain and mud-crabbing in the Whitsundays to cooking al-fresco on some of the most stunning beaches in the world, it's a non-stop adventure for anyone who loves travel and food. Justine Schofield, former Masterchef star and host of popular daily cooking series Everyday Gourmet, is taking her cooking on the road to explore Queensland's natural wonders and tropical produce.
Along the way Justine stops in on talented local chefs and cooks up dishes inspired by her adventures, from mini fired pizzas to a super-easy chicken salad.
Episode 1
Today Justine visits in Cairns with north Queensland chef Nick Holloway. Hollway, head chef and co-owner of restaurant in nearby Palm Cove, is one of the many chefs, cooks, producers and fisherman Schofield meets during her travels. She also goes ocean rafting at Whitehaven beach, then cooks coral trout in banana leaf right on the beach (her recipe includes alternatives if you can't get banana leaves).
Episode 2
Justine gives stand up paddling boarding ago on the beautiful Tallebugera River and then heads to the beach to make a quick, healthy chia breakfast bowl. This episode also includes a meal cooked on an open fire, and a visit to Walter's Lounge in Airlie Beach to meet the head chef and try the restaurant's braised beef cheeks.
Episode 3
Justine forages for mussels with a local guide and has them cooked up for her by Spencer Patrick, head chef from Harrisons restaurant. She makes a rum trifle on Whitehaven beach, gets behind the scenes at a top restaurant on the Gold Coast, and visits the local fishermans' co-op to get ingredients for her seafood salad.

Crab man Kev Collins takes Justine out to collect crabs before the paid have a cook-off. Who wins? You can decide whose crab dish look better! She also prepares barramundi in Port Douglas, with a smoky sour cream sauce and payaya salad that are great partners for any white fish, and whips up mini pizzas inspired by a meal in Italy.
Episode 5
Justine goes with local chef Damien Styles to get prawns for his prawns in nim jam sauce and visits a brewing company to get fresh beer for her salt and vinegar onion rings. And Nick Holloway is back to cook a pork salad salad.
Episode 6
Justine heads to a farm at Mount Tamborine with local cooking teacher Terri Taylor, where the pair harvest turmeric and other ingredients and Terri prepares turmeric chicken skewers. Later, up in Port Douglas Justine cooks up some kangaroo.

Episode 7
Justine visits a Spanish hideaway and makes a paella. There's another cooking segment from stunning Whitehaven Beach plus a visit to the coastal town of Airlie Beach.

Episode 8
Justine is back on the water and this time she's cooking up a fish burger. Behind the scenes at another busy restaurant Justine gets a taste of Patagonian toothfish. Up in Mosman she sources some sugarcane for her Prawn and pork sugarcane skewers.

Episode 9
Local cheese company Witches Chase takes Justine into their coolroom where she tastes their cheese and chooses the right one for her Eggs with cheese and relish dippers. Dropping in on the roof of Gold Coast hotel the QT, Justine meets Justin Zammit and tries his trout. She also cooks a fresh take on tacos.

Episode 10
In order to make her smoky eggplant and cocoa dip, Justine source some local cocoa in Mosman. Back at Witches Chase Cheese, she makes an omelette with three types of cheese. And using the turmeric she harvested earlier in the the show, Justine make a Turmeric pork and watermelon salad.
