1. Alpine skiing
Use your two ski poles (or chopsticks) and manoeuvre through , a vegetarian dish of sweet potato noodles, zucchini, shiitake mushrooms and chive. Ready in 30 minutes, this dish will earn you a a few high fives from your team.

It's a team effort during the biathlon relay event with a wicked sprint finish and you'll adopt that same approach in these . One fries the pancake while another chops all the veg, you've got tofu on the marinade and then you get rolling before a race to the finish line, which is the exciting part!

3. Bobsled
is a Korean sushi roll. The rice is seasoned with sesame oil and salt rather than vinegar and sugar and there is no need for dipping sauce as everything is packed neatly into sheets of kim (nori). This is one speedy roll.
4. Cross-country skiing
Another team event through tough terrain and fits this bill perfectly. Marinated chicken wings are twice-fried and stick together before a little "snow" sets in, in this case chopped peanuts. The perfect flavour balance with a punchy finish and you simply couldn't stop at just one!

5. Curling
This is typically made with one or two types of chopped vegetables. By sliding sheets of egg together you give yourself endless filling potential, including onion, mushroom, ham, bacon, zucchini, carrot and tuna.

6. Figure skating
Halfway through your routine, you decide to transition into a sweet parallel spin, just like this crisp, chewy . Bend and stretch that syrup before striking that final pose.
7. Freestyle skiing
It's a mixed bag of tricks during this event and you can expect to hit some super-high flavour notes and tricks in a . The variety of vegetables doesn’t really matter too much – use whatever you like, and to keep the integrity of each flavour, you can cook and season each ingredient separately before putting it all together into one complete performance.

8. Ice hockey
The arena (aka your hollowed out watermelon) is ready and now all you need to do is fill it. This packs a serious punch with watermelon juice, nashi pear syrup, a Korean-style vodka (soju), ginger liqueur and scooped melon balls which you'll be playing with during each top up.

No helmet required during the cooking of this . Place a lettuce leaf in the palm of your hand and just like a sled keep it tight and compact with your stars in tact - in this case, warm rice, kimchi, pork, chilli paste and roll it down the track. The perfect accompaniment to an ice-cold beer.

Ready in 15 minutes, these throw you straight into the action. The perfect toastie alongside rice, soup and of course kimchi, these also work wonders as a recovery breakfast after a full-day of sporting action.

You'll be riding straight to the bank, the food coma bank. Quick, easy and filled with brown sugar & peanuts - they go crackers especially when topped with ice-cream. You'll be face-down in pancake heaven in no time!

13. Ski jumping
A Korean round-up without a kimchi recipe is like a ski jumping event without a ramp. It's a necessity and takes your dishes to a whole other level. While the majority of kimchi is left to ferment for months and possibly years, this is easy to make and you can maintain that crunch factor as well.
