This festive dessert will cause you no stress - and it has just four ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 600 g frozen mixed berries
  • 200 g white chocolate, grated
  • 40 g amaretti biscuits, crushed
  • vanilla ice cream, to serve

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200°C. 
  2. Place the berries in an ovenproof baking dish and sprinkle over the grated chocolate. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the chocolate has melted with a slight golden tinge and the berries are soft and juicy.

  1. Divide the among four bowls, with ice-cream and garnished with crushed biscuits, or serve the dish to the table with the crushed amaretti and ice-cream, for guests to help themselves.

Cook's Notes

Oven temperatures are for conventional; if using fan-forced (convection), reduce the temperature by 20˚C. | We use Australian tablespoons and cups: 1 teaspoon equals 5 ml; 1 tablespoon equals 20 ml; 1 cup equals 250 ml. | All herbs are fresh (unless specified) and cups are lightly packed. | All vegetables are medium size and peeled, unless specified. | All eggs are 55-60 g, unless specified.
