When she arrived in Australia at the age of 12, Sara Mikhael did not know any English. But she was determinate to complete the university in Australia to fulfill her wish, to return the favor to her parents after they lost everything in Iraq, for her.

Mrs. Sara Mikhael, who obtained a Bachelor of Business and Commerce (property) from Western Sydney University, on 27th April 2020, said  when she arrived in Australia, she did not know the English language, but she worked hard and completed the high school.

She added that she had set out her intention to obtain a university degree as part of her appreciation and thanks to her parents who left everything in Iraq and came to Australia to live safely.
Sara stressed that a person in this country needs to do something in his life, and education is on ways of achieving that goal.
She added that she liked to draw and write poetry in Arabic, but now she works full time, so she finds it difficult to practice her hobbies.
She also studied Arabic, and she intends to obtain a master’s degree in education because she is thinking, perhaps, that one of her projects will be teaching Arabic.
