South Asian Film, Arts and Literature (SAFAL) Festival is organised by the Australian South Asia Forum (ASAF) Inc. It was started on the 3rd of August and finished on 11 August. This annual event celebrating the rich and diverse arts and culture of the South Asian region comprising the nations of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Bangladeshi photographer Hasib Zakaria took part in the SAFAL Festival in Sydney.
