Bangladeshi students showcase experiences of studying in Sydney

Bangladeshi students Ashfaq and Ashif have been selected as part of a group of 30 students to join an exciting new program called My UniLife launched by UTS Insearch in Sydney to highlight student life. They have turned up to the SBS studio and spoken about what it's like to study in Sydney.


Two Bangladeshi students Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed Sadman and Mr. Mohammad Ashifur Rahman have been selected for voluntary program called My UniLife launched by UTS Insearch, the pathway to the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). They will highlight their student life in social media so that future students will get valuable insights what it's like to study in Sydney.

Ashfaq from Narayongonj said that he loves the natural environment in Sydney and the beaches and forests are near each other.

“In the same weekend, I can go to a beach and bushwalking. Sydney has a range of naturalenvironments international students can enjoy. I love sharing the places I have been on Instagram,”Ashfaq said.



Ashfaq said that international education has improved his personal study skills.





“I have learnt resilience since coming to Sydney. Doing assignments has taught me that I may notalways get the perfect mark and to keep working towards my academic goals.”

Ashif from Chittagong said that living in Sydney has been very comfortable because he lives with his brother.

“Living with my brother has made the transition to studying in Sydney very easy. He’s always thereto help me when I have a problem or need to talk about study,” Ashif said.
