Bangladeshi Muslim community in Australia is annoyed with the act of terrorism by a young female student from Bangladesh. Momena Shoma, 26, admitted to engaging in a terror attack on Roger Singaravelu, homestay landlord at Mill Park, Melbourne on February 9, 2018. Dr. Sarod Khandaker, teacher of Swinburne University, Melbourne believes this young lady may have been brainwashed by religious extremists. He urges Bangladeshi community to avoid any form of bigotry.

Melbourne University research fellow Molla Huq says he is appalled with the Bangladeshi student's act. He thinks attacking on an innocent person in the name of religion is not only unacceptable, but also utterly nonsense. He worries this incident will affect innocent Muslim students' desire to study in Australia.
