Parents ignoring screen-time guidelines

Australian children, as young as two months old, are being exposed to too much screentime, according to a new national health study. Experts warn it could lead to development problems - but some parents say putting away electronic devices is just too hard.


When the sun is shining, Xi Liu and her son Jasper love to play at the park. But the Sydney mother says keeping her two-year-old entertained at other times of the day can be challenging. She's one of many parents across Australia who gives their children access to mobile phones and other electronic devices.
