过马路用手机可被罚款

为减低路上意外伤亡，澳洲行人委员会（The Pedestrian Council of Australia）提议，不专心过马路人士可被罚款。

七号电视台报道
，如行人委员会的这项提议被接纳，过马路时用手机或打电话等都将被视为不安全行为，即使是绿色交通灯亮起，将面临最高200元的罚款。

澳洲行人委员会主席Harold Scruby表示，现时行人过马路时用手机情况严重。

该委员会同时提议多项改善措施，包括将市区CBD的车速限制降至每小时30公里、除消十字型过马路设计、设置过马路倒数灯等，以此减少道路事故。
