墨尔本艺术家Mond QU是一个跨多个领域的设计师，他的作品跨越视觉艺术、建筑设计和工业设计等。
今年他受邀在Doncaster的Westfield购物中心设计了一组灯笼的装置。整部作品独具匠心，设计精妙。
Mond说他的灵感源自于红包和春天，“当中国新年到来的时候，总是会有红包，春节的庆祝活动，花儿绽放的春天，会发生新的事情”。

此次他的作品外形源自红包，打开后里面则是盛开的金色花朵。此外，每朵花中还有送给幸运顾客的礼物。
Mond的父母来自上海，因此在他的记忆中，农历新年充满着春天的记忆和家庭的意味。

而对于他个人，家庭始终是农历新年的主轴。在接受邢栋采访时他说：家人们聚在一起，分享以前的趣事、畅谈未来，从爷爷一直到小外甥都会在一个房间，围坐在一张圆桌，享用美食。”
他说农历新年是给与和分享的时刻。
