A first at The European Fine Art Foundation in Maastricht (TEFAF) last week, where Aboriginal art hung for the first time. During the fair, several works were sold for a total of more than 2.2 million Australian dollars.

We asked Tina Baum, Senior Curator of Indigenous Art at the National Gallery of Australia, if she notices that Aboriginal artworks are becoming more popular. Which Aboriginal artists are important to the Aboriginal community? And what should people keep in mind when buying Aboriginal art?
