- The number of people with COVID-19 being treated in intensive care has dropped in four states across Australia.

COVID-19 Stats:
NSW recorded 29 deaths in its latest reporting period, while 2,794 were hospitalised and 175 in intensive care units. There were 21,030 new cases recorded.
There were 35 deaths reported in Victoria, with the state recording 1,089 hospitalisations and 113 patients in ICU. There were 13,507 new COVID-19 cases in Victoria.
Queensland recorded nine deaths, and a drop in hospitalisations from 928 to 889 and a fall in ICU numbers from 51 to 47. There were 13,551 in Queensland.
And Tasmania reported one death, 712 new cases, and said 28 people were in hospital with COVID-19 and two in intensive care.
