New South Wales
NSW has recorded 415 new locally acquired cases and four deaths. At least 35 cases were in the community while infectious.
Suburbs with the highest number of new cases are Blacktown, Mount Druitt, Marayong, Merrylands, Auburn and Guildford.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian says the government is looking for “opportunities” for vaccinated people to gain some freedoms from September as the state records 50 per cent of the partially vaccinated adult population.
Victoria
Victoria has recorded 25 new locally acquired cases, out of which four are not linked to known outbreaks. Thirteen cases were in the community while infectious.
Premier Daniel Andrews says a further 84,000 bookings will be made available on the government website today.
