New South Wales
NSW has recorded 1,043 new locally acquired cases and 11 deaths.
NSW is launching a pilot program to bring back about 500 international students who have been vaccinated with Pfizer, Moderna or AstraZeneca vaccines.
Traces of COVID-19 have been detected in sewage samples from Lightning Ridge in western NSW, Jindabyne in southern NSW, Crookwell in the Southern Tablelands, and South Lismore in northern NSW.
Victoria
Victoria has recorded 733 new locally acquired cases, with 84 per cent people aged under 50. One person has died.
Health Minister Martin Foley says over 700 pharmacies across the state will receive over 300,000 doses of Moderna in the coming weeks. Also, around 32,000 additional doses of the Moderna vaccine will be allocated to pop-up vaccination sites and available for anyone aged 12-59.
Australian Capital Territory
The territory has recorded 19 new locally acquired cases.
A fully vaccinated nurse from the Calvary Haydon Retirement Community in Canberra's north tested positive to COVID-19. The ACT now has around 450 current .
