New South Wales
NSW has recorded 1,218 new locally acquired cases, with 887 coming from western and south-western Sydney. Six people died, bringing the total of COVID-related deaths to 145.
From Monday 6 September, authorised workers who live in the but work outside their government areas need to have at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Victoria has recorded 92 new locally acquired cases, including more than 30 not yet linked to existing outbreaks.
