COVID-19 update: NSW to open up early with longer restrictions for unvaccinated people

Reopening Rules

  • NSW brings forward the for fully vaccinated people from 1 December to 8 November.
  • NSW lifts density limits to all settings, except gym and dance classes. Masks are still mandatory for indoor settings until 15 December.
  • Relaxations for unvaccinated people in NSW pushed to 15 December.

  • From 23 November, South Australia removes interstate border restrictions and reduces quarantine time to seven days for international travellers for fully vaccinated people.

  • NSW recorded 173 new cases and four deaths.
  • ACT recorded 8 new locally acquired cases.
