COVID-19 Update: Queensland on track for 80 per cent target, travel bubble with South Korea and Japan considered

Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says the state will reach 80 per cent vaccination tomorrow. Meanwhile, businessman Clive Palmer is planning to take legal action against the state government's proposal to block unvaccinated patrons from attending certain venues.
The federal government is considering allowing quarantine-free travel to South Korea and Japan. Prime Minister Scott Morrison says the government is working on a two-way deal after a similar plan was established with Singapore.
In Victoria over 84 per cent of those aged 12 and over have received at least one vaccine dose. Almost all restrictions will be scrapped for the double-dosed when the state hits its 90 per cent full vaccinated target, forecast for 24 November.

COVID-19 STATS:

Victoria recorded 1,003 locally acquired cases and 14 deaths.

NSW recorded 216 new locally acquired cases and three deaths.

Queensland has recorded three new cases and the ACT, nine.
