French cuisine is very popular in Japan. Several famous chefs from the Hexagone like Joël Robuchon and Alain Ducasse have restaurants in Tokyo.
But this time, it's a Japanese company that has decided to mix up French classics by creating the crepebrulee. Yep, it's pretyy self-explanatory, it's a crêpe stuffed with crème brûlée filling.
The company named is from Toyama and has a stand in the very trendy neighbourhood of Harajuku, in Tokyo. It also offers other sweet crêpes and a cheesy galette.
What about the crêpe? If we're judging by the long lines, it seems like Japanese people can't get enough of it. On , a woman says she's had better crêpes in Harajuku, but she still gives four stars out of five to the crepebrulee and says it's worth a try.
