They've already existed in the US for a while, but wine trucks have been booming in France lately.
Wine trucks want to introduce you to new wines in a relaxed and fun setting. A cross between a market stall and a wine bar, some of the trucks also have food on offer.
Wine trucks everywhere in France
Near Toulouse, Les Camions Trinqueurs are a wine merchant, grocer and wine bar. They sell wine and produce from Languedoc and Roussillon at markets, but also at private events.
Le Saint Emilion Wine Trip also focuses on wine and produce from its region. "60% of Saint-Emilion wines are sold in France. We wanted to go meet our customers and we knew that the food truck concept is very popular," .
The agency Rouge Granit owns a truck it lends to different groups such as Les Vins de Corse and Les Vins de la Vallée du Rhône.
And this is only a few examples from the long list of French wine trucks. We're just waiting for somebody to import the idea to Australia now!
