Last Tuesday, May 15, four friends organised everything to make RATP users laugh: tie suits, dotted tablecloth, raclette cheese, pickles, charcuterie and red wine. Everything to have a perfect 'raclette party' in one of line 5's wagon of the Paris metro.
It is no longer really the time of the raclette with summer approaching. But Thomas is a 24-year-old engineer and a "filming humorous videos" on his free time, as reported by franceinfo. "I have already made several videos in the Paris metro, including one where I dance rock and one where I get my hair cut in a car", he explains to franceinfo. The idea behind these light sequences is simple: "I'm doing this to make people laugh, quite simply."
"In terms of logistics, I had everything planned: a table with trestles, a tablecloth, some dishes and a small raclette machine, which works with a candle. With my three friends, we went to the very beginning of the line to be sure to have the place where to sit."
"At first, a member of RATP's security department came to ask us what we were doing, and in fact he only wanted to check that we did not have a candle. We just had not lit it yet...", Thomas tells franceinfo.
An idea, in any case, that will have made you laugh. Even the railway worker came to take a picture with the small group to show his wife, who otherwise would never have believed it!
