Listed as intangible heritage by UNESCO, this incredible culinary event called Goût de France / Good France is a French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs initiative.
For the fourth consecutive year, on March 21, 2018, 3300 restaurants from 5 continents and more than 150 countries, will simultaneously present a "French" menu.
An international selection committee of chefs, with the support of embassies and consulates, validated the list of participants by ensuring the quality and consistency of the menus, says .

Each menu highlights French gastronomy while allowing chefs to freely adapt their menus to their own markets and quality products.
All the meals proposed must present a generous aperitif, main course(s), a cheese platter, a dessert (two, for the restaurant owners who feel unable to provide high-quality cheese) and finally French wines and champagnes.
Each menu will be based on a cuisine that uses little fat, sugar or salt, in line with "good food" and the environment, and features vegetables and cereals.
The price is at the restaurant's discretion. It is suggested that 5% of sales be donated to a local NGO working in the health and environment sectors.
