Wanting to help an intern's father who is a motorcyclist, a French baker has created a very popular baguette.

Boulangerie Le Darz, in Landernau, in France's Finistère region, has invented a special easy-to-carry baguette for when you're riding a motorcycle or a bicycle.

Dubbed the "motorcyclist baguette," it's bent in a u shape, it's easy to put it in a backpack or a saddlebag, in order that it doesn't slip out out when you're riding.

"Don't want to cut your baguette in two so it fits in your bag? Come discover our 'motorcyclist baguette'. No need to cut it, it's already bent in half when we make it!" wrote the bakery on .

Nicolas Le Darz didn't think much of it when he created the baguette, he was just trying to find a solution for an intern mentioning his dad couldn't carry baguettes when he was on his motorcycle. But the baguette has become very successful.

He said to he only prepared six "motrocyclist baguette" the first time, but he has to make 50 a day now.

The baguette also became viral online, the photo being shared several thousand times.
