The election campaign in Germany is on the home straight. Voting will take place in just over two weeks. More than 60 million German citizens are eligible to vote. However, 4 million Germans live abroad and many there are also eligible to vote, but overcomplicated bureaucratic hurdles prevent them from casting their votes. This upsets many, but complaints are regularly dismissed by German courts. Ulrike Zimmermann is one of those who wants to vote but can't. She vents to her anger:
