No US tariff exemptions for Australian steel and aluminium

Tariffs on steel and aluminum imports to the United States have come into effect, and Australia is not exempt. Australia had been given hope by the President's own words, Mr Trump promising he would consider an exemption for Australia after a phone call with Anthony Albanese. In the end, Australia's closest ally did not offer any special treatment.
