Why many Germans abroad became unintentional non-voters at the past federal elections

Many Germans living abroad did not get the chance to vote at the federal elections. The reason being: Their postal ballot documents were either delayed or not delivered at all. We investigated further by speaking to the German community here in Australia and also with the German General Consul in Sydney Felix Schwarz.
