Since its inception in 2014, the Earlwood Wanderers FC 'Little Wanderers' (LW) initiative has been instrumental in laying the groundwork for bringing together young football players aged 2-5.
Led by the club's Committee, the program was born out of a desire to cultivate a passion for the sport within a supportive and enjoyable setting, while paving the path for future football stars.
Today, 10 years after the LW inception, Earlwood Wanderers FC sees talent from the 2014 inaugural class which continue to support the team's efforts.
Beyond learning and understanding football, LW has also allowed players to connect with one another, fostering a social environment while sharing the love of football.
Jake, one of the participants of the LW program, said that he has "been very fortunate to have had great coaches and teammates who have supported him over the years."

The club’s Committee are “extremely proud of its history and especially of these fine, young, talented players who have made Earlwood Wanderers their ‘home away from home’ on weekends” in Sydney’s Inner West / South West.”
The Club’s President, Tamara Mulroney stated: “It is testament to the dedication of the Club, its coaches, managers and volunteers, that players, once starting as a small child in the Little Wanderers program, continue to play sometimes up until senior levels and feel comfortable while doing so. Many of our players now register their own children in the Little Wanderers program and continue to follow their journey with Earlwood Wanderers FC”
