Malcolm Turnbull’s book reignites the conversation for the “August 2018 coup”

Former Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull claims in his book, published on Mondays, that his successor Scott Morrison, should not have won the federal election a year ago.

He has also criticised Mr Morrison's bid to portray himself as the "daggy dad" from the suburbs during the election campaign.

Mr Turnbull described Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton, a coup leader, was a "narcissist" and "self-delusional" for thinking he could be prime minister.

Many ministers, including Mt Dutton, have said that they will give the book a miss and many commentators have rejected the claims put forward by the former PM saying that he is now totally irrelevant.
