Born in Kenya, studied in Pondicherry but writes poems in Gujarati

Pratapbhai Amin, an Indian Australian was born in Kenya and studied in a Union Territory in India - Pondicherry. He moved to Australia in early 1970. Although he has never lived in Gujarat, his passion for the Gujarati language not only made him a very fluent speaker but also helped him promote the language legacy in Australia.
