Keren Lewinsohn lives and works in Melbourne, but most of her family lived in Kibbutz Kfar Aza until the 7th of October. Currently they and all the survivors of the massacre are practically homeless.

Keren Lewinsohn was born in a beautiful and serene Kibbutz in the south of Israel, Kfar Aza. On the 7th of October 2023, Hamas stormed into the Kibbutz and turned it into hell on earth - slaughtering babies, children, men and women. By sheer miracle Keren’s immediate family survived that horror, but dozens of their friends were brutally murdered.
