Gaby tells us about what it was like to grow up in a musical family. He then tells us fascinating anecdotes about the creation of the IPO, the culmination of tireless efforts by Bronisław Huberman and many other musicians. Gaby explains how grateful the “Yishuv” was back then to the support of world class, anti Nazi musicians such as Arturo Toscanini and Adolf Busch, and relates it to the recent and poignant visit of Thomas and Brigitta Busch to the IPO.
