The death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has sparked mixed reactions from around the world. Many locals are concerned this may put the country at the mercy of its enemies, while others remain optimistic.


Iran is investigating the cause of the president's helicopter crash.
Varying reactions are pouring in following the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.

The 63-year-old leader died in a helicopter crash apparently caused by poor weather conditions in mountains near the Azerbaijan border on Sunday the 19th of May.

The wreckage of the helicopter was found early on Monday [[May 20]] after an overnight search.

Six other passengers, including the country’s foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, were aboard with the crew.
