Niv's current program is called 'Tzameret'. The participants study medicine before and during enlisting into the IDF, and then become medical doctors in combat units as well as several other options.
Niv came to Australia for a short visit, during which he addressed young people in Jewish schools, medical centres, and other Jewish organisations. He tells the audience about the Hebrew University, about the academic path he’s pursuing, and about what it is like to live in Israel at this very difficult time, just after the war began, on the 7th of October this year.
