In a promo, Sukhjit is seen at a Gurudwara, dressed in an Indian attire, with her head covered, telling the audience about how looks can be deceptive. “If anyone saw me in this gear, no one would know that I have a crazy bogan accent or talk the way I do or act the way I do…,” she says.

In the promo, she gives us a glimpse into what her next performance is going to be about. In accordance with their faith, Sikh men and women, often refrain from cutting, trimming or waxing their body and facial hair. It is based on the belief that “human body is best preserved in its natural form.”

True to her religion and her feminist views, Sukhjit reveals how she neither waxes her hairy limbs nor does she care what others think.

A die-hard feminist herself, Sukhjit has been a strong vocal activist of feminist issues and is a firm believer in her Sikh faith. In her first act, Sukhjit delivered a strong message about the racial discrimination faced by Sikhs in Australia. She wears her religion proudly on her ‘head’ (pun intended).
