His brother Shail Singh brought it to Swaraj’s notice on twitter. He sought the help of India’s external affairs minister.

“@SushmaSwaraj my bro in Australia worked as a pizza boy domino's was shot twice in hand and chest when a burglar came for money. he saved the lives of 3 fellow Indians too. He is hospitalized. already 36hrs have passed Still a bullet is there in his chest,” reads Shail Singh’s tweet.
Swaraj responded quickly saying that she has sought a report from the Consulate General in Sydney. She wrote, “I have asked @cgisydney to send me a complete report on this. They will provide all help and assistance to your brother and keep me informed.”
Anand Singh works at a Domino's pizza shop worker in Wentworthville. He was attacked by a gunman on Sunday night who demanded cash before shooting at 21-year-old Singh and fled on foot.

Shot in the chest and hand, Anand Singh was in critical condition but instead of waiting for the ambulance, stumbled down to the nearby police station with the help of another co-worker. This short journey was captured on CCTV. His friend can be seen calling for help.

Police have praised this young man for his endeavor. Granville Police Inspector Matthew Hyde told media, “It’s quite amazing in fact that he was able to walk and seek assistance.”
