After two years of silence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Indonesian government has begun to open the gates for foreign travellers, especially foreign tourists. Various facilities are provided, ranging from quarantine free to Visa on Arrival.

Bali is a major tourist destination in Indonesia, and Australia is the largest home country of tourists for Bali. Therefore, it is not surprising that Australian tourists are the most awaited on the Island of the Gods.

At least, that is the hope of tourism actors, according to Nyoman Murjana, General Manager of the Taman Nusa tourist destination, in Bali.

Nyoman said he was grateful and welcomed the government's latest policy which relaxed the requirements for visiting. He hopes that the middle of this year will be the beginning of the revival of tourism as the peak of foreign tourist arrivals.
