Carrying out his junior badminton career in Indonesia, Setyana Mapasa then received an offer to play for the Australian national team. What is the story behind the decision?


Setyana Daniella Florensia Mapasa was not yet 17 when she was first offered to play for Australian badminton team.

Admitting that she feels more at home living in Indonesia, the Manado-born badminton player said she had to struggle for years to adjust to the decision she and her family made for her professional career in Australia.
