Bush tucker is a food source – fauna and flora - that is native to Australia. It is tasty and nutritious and has been eaten by Indigenous Australians for over 50,000 years.


Udaya Halim is the founder of the Benteng Heritage Museum.  He is also founder of PERTIWI (Chinese Indonesians and Indonesia Citizens) who likes cooking.  Sisters Tasia and Gracia Seger are the winner of MKR 2016 cefs who run the Makan restaurant in Melbourne   Udaya, Tasia and Gracia explain to Sri Dean how the flavours of bush tucker might be fused with Indonesian cuisine.
