7.2% of adults are at risk of addictiongambling.

Culturallyand Linguistically Diverse Communities (CALD) don't gamble any more than the general population, but research shows they are more prone to experiencing the dangers of gambling.

Relativesand friends of people experiencing problem gambling may also be affected.

Theyoften experience financial losses associated with gambling problems. They tend to experience stress in relationships, and they have to deal with the associated negative consequences.
