Many auction houses are dealing with the effects of the pandemic but Sotheby's in London does not seem to suffer too much by the economic crisis that is damaging the entire sector.
During an online auction hit on June 29, 2020, 80 lots of art works were sold for US $ 363 million. Among the works also a triptych by Francis Bacon which alone reached 84.6 million dollars.
