The artistry of opera and the culinary artistry of some of Perth’s top restaurants and eateries collides in West Australian Opera and Visit Perth’s brand new six-part digital series, Cooking with Opera.


Cooking with Opera is the latest digital initiative from West Australian Opera’s extensive Ghost Light Opera programme. Hosted by Daniele Foti-Cuzzola, this six-part series will feature some of Perth’s top restaurants and eateries including Garum, Mary Street Bakery and Chicho Gelato recreating classic opera inspired dishes. From the Peach Melba, to Pasta alla Norma and the classic Opera cake; each episode of Cooking with Opera will explore the operatic origins of each dish, while the chef from each venue recreates these iconic dishes with their own twist.
