On the occasion of the 50th birthday of Melbourne's Preston Market, we asked our listeners to tell us about their memories - both in Australia and in Italy - and their experiences that have to do with markets. Although the so-called large-scale retail trade now plays the lion's share when it comes to purchases - and this applies to both countries - shopping at the market allows contacts and interactions that are impossible in other contexts.
