  • The opposition has used question time in parliament to further pursue the government over its links to travel company Helloworld and its CEO Andrew Burnes, who is also the treasurer of the Liberal Party. Australia's United States ambassador Joe Hockey has been dragged into the row involving Helloworld, in which he owns shares.
  • Cabinet minister Michaelia Cash insists federal police didn't ask her for more evidence about raids on Australian Workers' Union offices after she chose to write a letter instead of giving a formal statement. Camera crews and journalists beat the police to the October 2017 raids on AWU headquarters when staff from Senator Cash and former justice minister Michael Keenan's offices tipped off the media.
