Freedom is Beautiful highlights the story of two extraordinary Kurdish refugees, Farhad Bandesh and Mostafa (Moz) Azimitabar who fled persecution in Iran & arrived separately by boat in Australia seeking asylum in 2013. The documentary, directed by Angus McDonald highlights their sufferings while in detention and the enjoyment Farhad and Mostafa (Moz) gain from music and painting. The film will be showing showing at Sydney Film Festival on June 11 and 18.
