Dr. Mile Glamcevski's contribution to education, mental health and first aid in Cambodia began almost three decades ago at a time when the country looked externally for ways to rebuild its nation. With expertise in several fields, publishing annually and a heightened sense of community, Dr. Glamcevski continues to render distinguished services to King Norodom Sihamoni and the people of Cambodia, for which, in July 2020, he received a knighthood, The Royal Order of Sahametrei (Grand Cross) a chivalric order. Recently knighted, Glamcevski is also a Captain in the Australian Army Reserves where he is Operations Officer for the 2nd Force Support Battalion's 6th Logistics Support Company. Captain Glamcevski, who always wanted to serve and whose part Macedonian heritage stems from Bitola, says pride in his army service connects him directly to his paternal great grandfather's military history.
