"There are many cases of people being locked up at home or people who do not receive any services because their families are reluctant to discuss their needs," Dr. Anita Strezova


Only 6 to 8% of people with disability from non-English speaking background access the NDIS services, says Dr. Anita Strezova, Multicultural Disability Advocacy Association manager.

Dr. Strezova has been engaged for the last few years as an expert on the problems that people with disabilities of non-English background face at many meetings with all sides of the political system.

She is also a member of the Stand By Me campaign that advocates for the rights of people with disability.
