'Shocking' testimony at the Disability Royal Commission

We were warned that the evidence at the current session of the disability royal commission would shock the conscience of all Australians. And the evidence that's been presented has shown neglect within what's been described as a 'fractured' health system. But underlying much of their testimony, witnesses have also described an experience common to a lot of people with cognative disabilities - of being treated as 'sub-human'.
