Chef Sujan Shrestha currently works at an award-winning "One Hatted" restaurant in Sydney called Kepos Street Kitchen.
When his restaurant had to compete against some passionate home cooks for the "The Chef's Line", Shrestha was hoping he would not have to cook something sweet.
With his professional colleagues one point down against the non-professional home cooks, it was station chef Shrestha's challenge to bring home the victory.
There was one problem though - dessert isn't something he thought was his speciality.
"But I was up for the challenge, and things turned out great", said Sujan Shrestha speaking to SBS Nepali.
The recipe he had to ace was the Middle Eastern cheese dessert Kanafe with apple tea.
How did a Nepali person from Kathmandu end up winning on an Australian TV show, cooking Kanafe?
