Police call for help to locate two missing Nepali teenagers in Sydney

Two Nepali teenagers, Mabindra Pun and Saurab Pun, both 14, have gone missing from the same school trip in Sydney, according to New South Wales police.

Police have issued an urgent appeal for information, revealing that Mabindra Pun was last seen at noon on Sunday, 21 January, in Haymarket.

He was wearing a navy blue shirt, black pants, and black and white sneakers.

Saurab Pun went missing at a different time and location and was last seen on Tuesday, 23 January, at Sydney International Airport at around 6.30pm.

He was wearing a black t-shirt, shorts, and black and grey shoes.

Although they are believed to be related, the police clarified that Mabindra and Saurab are not closely related or immediate twin brothers.

The authorities were notified about their disappearance by a senior member of the school trip group.

The Nepali embassy in Canberra and the Non-Resident Nepali Association of Australia are reportedly unaware of the incident.

Both teenagers are described as having thin builds, black hair, and brown eyes. Saurab is approximately 155cm tall, while Mabindra is about 140cm tall.

The New South Wales police have urged anyone with information on their whereabouts to come forward to assist in the search efforts.
