Native to the northern belt of Nepal, the Sherpa community has been involved in preserving their endangered music. Pasang Tshering Sherpa, the Vice President of the Himalayan Sherpa Cultural Centre says Sherpa folk tunes encompass aspects of their lifestyle ranging from human emotions to the significance of nature.
